This is the day the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it!
For us Dominican nuns, the exultant chant of the “Haec Dies” (the verse in gold above) marks the whole Easter octave. After celebrating Holy Week and Easter in these straitened circumstances, we rejoice this week because no matter what crisis, no matter what pandemic, CHRIST IS RISEN!
We keep all of you in our prayers especially now, and ask your prayers for us as well. May the Risen Lord fill your hearts with the peace of His Presence during this distressing time.
